How Can soreness In The Elbow And Arm be Treated?

My right elbow area is very sore. Its hard to grip things and it hurts to bend my arm I don t recall doing anything to it, but its been about three weeks and it hasn t gotten any better. I can touch certain parts with no pain, but when I touch the side of my right elbow its very sore.

The pain may be due to inflammation/injury to the bone, tendons or muscles. It is possible to also have a combination of damage to different areas.

The use of an anti inflammatory medication would be helpful eg naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam, voltaren
In addition to one of these, rest, warm compress to the area and protection from further injury would be important.
